6 die as S. Korean freighter capsizes in E. China Sea

A South Korean freighter capsizes Jan. 12 in the East China Sea, with seven crew members rescued and the remaining six found dead. According to the Maritime Safety Agency (MSA), the 4,160-ton Kae Chuck Jin capsized in international waters about 30 kilometers north of the Goto Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture, southwestern Japan.
